Im posting this.. Incase anyone was curious.. About Grandpa's Funeral.
How it went... And what song's were played.

The opening song, As people were taking their seat's... Was a song that we have listened to for years, and thought of Grandpa every time we heard it. Even though the song was about a "homeless man" Every word of the song, relates so much to our thoughts of Grandpa so much. Especially thinking about every time we woke him up from sleep, i can just imagine, he was almost home... The song was picked out by my Father (Grandpa's son) But was also, suggested by several family members. Because it reminded everyone of Grandpa.

It's called Almost Home by Craig Morgan.

And i am very sad about this- As the song started, people were asked to take their seat's for the ceremony.. But unfortunatly, there was no respect. Every one was still talking. Loud enough that the song wasnt even heard. And a part of me is glad because it actually aggervated me to the point that the song didnt affect me, nearly as much as it would have if everyone had just been silent. I still cant get over that people were still talking though- How can people be so rude? They had enough time to talk before the funeral, yet as the first song played, which was personally picked out by all of us, they still felt the need to interrupt the entire song. And i mean the entire song, they talked the whole time.

After this song was played, my best friend Deborah's husband, opened up in prayer.
And then my video was played.

It had everyone crying..... And then laughing.. And then crying some more.
Im so glad i had the chance to show everyone just a little piece of the Grandpa i knew.
He was such a pleasure to be around..

After my video was played.. He then read some information.. (deborah's husband)
About his family (grandpa's) and the amount of Grandkids and Great Grandkids and Great Great Grandkids.

Then my Brother Bill, sang this song.
Bill's version was much more amazing though
Him and his band did such an amazing job.
Three different guitars playing.
It was BEAUTIFUL.. Outstanding.
And how perfect is this song?

"Im not going back.. Im moving ahead."

Then my Father did the service. Grandpa was his Father.
God must have showered him with strength.
I could have never done it.
He gave a good word. He talked about Grandpa, and then did some preaching.

Then during the last viewing of Grandpa, This song was played.
My Brother Bill and my Father picked it out.
It was on loop. Played over and over.

And it was this particular version. The live one.
My Brother liked it best.

I still cant believe Grandpa isnt with us anymore.
Im still in shock. And it hasnt 100% registered in my head yet.
Im hoping it never does. Im just pretending he's off fishing somewhere.
Even though i know he's with the Lord.. I know he is.
But as of right now.......... He's fishing.
