"YOU werent there the night Jesus found ME. YOU DID NOT FEEL what I FELT when he wrapped his loving arms around ME. And you dont know the cost of the oil, YOU dont know the cost of my praise!! And.... YOU dont know the cost of the oil in my alabaster box." (lyrics from the song alabaster box)
Keep this in mind- Next time your judging a person. Whether you are judging their past, or their present situation. You werent there, When Jesus found them... You dont know what they have been through, or what it's been like walking in their shoes.. You dont know their heart, or how they feel... Or the kind of things they have had to deal with in their lifetime.
Who are you to judge? And Talk, And Gossip...? Before you look and talk about the plank in another's eye, make sure and take the plank out of your own eye........ And remember, however YOU JUDGE someone, is the exact measure you too will be judged one day.
ALL HAVE FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. We all have messed up some time or another in life. We are human. We were created to make mistakes.. But mistakes shouldnt define a persons existance. If we werent meant to be perfect, Jesus wouldnt have died on the cross for us.
The men were all standing around watching said Oh!!!
If he is a prophet, then he WOULD know WHO she was,
and he wouldnt even be near her!!!!(mary magdaline)
But Jesus said, THIS WOMAN has washed my feet with these oils, and she has washed my feet with her tears, and she has dried them with her hair, YOU DID NOT DO THIS FOR ME! You didnt even offer me water for my feet! You didnt even kiss me! And this woman hasnt stopped kissing my feet since she has walked in the door!!
And these were people who KNEW Jesus, and LOVED HIM..
Jesus loves all of his children, Jesus loves a sinner, and a drunkard, and whatever else problems people might have in life.. JUST as much as he loves a righetous, & saved person.
So dont sit back and judge... Pray for that person, because the Lord knows everyone's heart, he is not a respector of persons. You are no different than anyone else. Jesus loves us all the same..
(some of what i had said, were from the scriptures in the book of luke, i just shortened up for you, charity-style ;) but if you would like to read the entire story... im posting it down below)
This is from LUKE 7:36-50 (new king james version)
*A Sinful Woman Forgiven*
36 Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil.
39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”
40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”
So he said, “Teacher, say it.”
41 “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?”
43 Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.”
And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head.
45 You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”
48 Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
49 And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50 Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”
Your faith has saved you, your sins have been forgiven, now go in peace..
-Jesus

Dear Charity,
