The Turtle & The Bird

Deborah just called me and as usual she had a lovely story to tell me.
It never fails that Deborah and her Mom have this kind of experience,
And it's ALWAYS with animals............

Who woulda thought Turtles could hear? And.. Listen?

My Aunt found a turtle eating a bird in her front yard.

She thought it was the live baby bird so she yelled at it, told it to stop,
She said HEY! STOP IT!!

and so it stopped and backed off,
looked at her as if she was crazy,
and then walked away.


She realized it was the dead bird, so she scooped it up, brought it BACK to the lil turtle after it done left and got it's feelings hurt, she put it in front of him, and he finished eating his breakfast.
 
 
I didnt even turtles liked to eat birds..
How is it even possible that a turtle could eat a bird anyway?

After he finished eating, he wiped off his face, and dissapeared.
 
 
p.s. deborah just let me know it ate bones & all, the meat, the head, the feathers, everything. isnt that crazy? =X
