Fall In Love This Valentines Day!

Dear You (insert YOUR NAME here)

I know you feel lonely. And you feel like nobody else cares. And your wondering where Prince Charming Or your Cinderella is, And altho it hardly ever matters any other time, Around this time of year, This season, Your feeling pretty down.

Your feeling lost, And alone, And you wish you had somebody to call yours. You wish you had someone to buy gifts for, Or you wish somebody would surprise you with a gift this February 14th. But Unfortunetly, There is nobody.... Nobody's calling you, Nobody is sending flowers, Your pretty much all on your own As you have been for the last few years... But im here to tell you something... Something you may or may not believe. Something you may not care about, Or it just might bring you comfort as it has me.

It's true, This is the time for all the lovers. For the husbands and wives and girlfriends and boyfriends to celebrate LOVE and celebrate the LOVE they have for eachother! It's around the time when everyone is making special plans, and dinner dates, and ordering flowers, buying chocolates, And some lucky ladies will even be proposed to, And this 14th will get a ring on their finger (lucky them) But as for us.. We're loner's right now, Right? lol, No boyfriend, No Girlfriend, No flowers, No Ring, Nothing.

But guess what?

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
THERE IS SOMEBODY WHO LOVES YOU.
THERE IS SOMEBODY WHO LOVES YOU MORE THAN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINED BEING LOVED.

AND EVEN THOUGH HE ISNT BUYING YOU CHOCOLATES THAT WILL BE GONE IN A DAY
OR ROSES THAT WILL DIE IN A WEEK---

HE WANTS TO GIVE YOU THINGS THAT LAST FOREVER.
UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.
PEACE IN YOUR HEART,
AND COMFORT.

Now.. I know, I know, Your thinking "Who is this guy?" LOL
And "WHERE HAS HE BEEN ALL OF MY LIFE!"

Well... He isnt your average male, And he's not waiting out side of your door with his heart in his hands labeled "YOURS"......
(well.. maybe he is, lol)

He's been right there.. All along,
And Ladies this is not just to you- This is to EVERYONE.
Man, Woman, Child, This applies to everyone.

He's been there every day, Every Valentines Day, Every Christmas, Every Summer, Every Winter.
Every single day, Since you were born.

He's been there....
Knocking at the door of your heart.
Wanting to give you all you desire and more.

This Valentines day, I may not have the love of my life in my arms, Or on his knee's asking me to marry him, But i am comforted by the fact, That i have a God who loves me, And i have a God who is holding me in his arms right now, I have a God that will never leave me or forsake me (HEBREWS 13:5), I have a God that created me, Because he is in love with me, Always has been and always will be.


Last night was a little rough for me....
I've hard worse days though, Last night was actually quite milder than the day's i've been having lately. I've been pretty lonely, and depressed, and stressed, and i decided- Instead of sitting around biting my nails, and worrying and letting the devil get the best of my soul, I would put all of my negative feelings and thoughts into something worth doing... Something that would be more positive.

So i pulled out this book my wonderful Brother bought me a few years ago, During a dark time in my life.
It's from the Christian book store, The price on the back is $1.99. But what is inside, is surely worth so much more.

It's called "A LOVE SO REAL"

It's Readings and Scripture for the Heart of a Woman.

But i dont want this to just be all about us Women, Because God created Adam first, So he must have been in love with him before he loved us Ladies :)

God loves you. So much.
God loves me. So much.
He really really does,
And i am SO thankful that last night,
I pulled this book out and read it,
Because even though we KNOW God loves us- It is SO easy to forget about his love......

It's almost Valentines Day, And all i can think about is Love Love Love.. And i keep having all these thoughts... So in the midst of all of these thoughts.... I easily forgot, That God has loved me all along. And i am NOT alone.


So along with all of these thoughts, I want to share some scriptures with you....


First of all.. Stop worrying! (this is one of my biggest problems in life!) I worry DAY and NIGHT. Literally. I am not kidding.. From the time i wake up, untill the time i go to sleep......

You know what? I wish... From now on, That i could remember to pull out my Bible each time i start worrying... That's what the Bible is there for.. It's not just so you can learn about History and who did this and that, Or what commandments to live by or stick to, Or whatever else the Bible holds- It is also there to comfort you. The Bible is the bread of life, You need it to survive. And without reading it, Without knowing, Without Scripture, I might as well crumble to the ground, and give up all hope in my life.

But thank GOD for the Bible! Praise God for the words written inside of it!

"This is why i tell you: Dont worry about your life, What you will eat or what you will drink or about your body, What you will wear. Isnt life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the sky: They dont sow or reap or gather into barns, Yet your heavenly father feeds them! Arent you worth more than they?"- Matthew 6:25-26

"And why do you worry about clothes? Learn how the wildflowers of the field grow: they dont labor or spin thread. Yet i tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these!
If that's how God clothes the grass of the field which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, wont He do much more for YOU- you of little faith?" Matthew 6:28-30

........ Isnt that wonderful words to read?

If God cares enough about the birds, and the flowers and the grass, How much more does he care for you? So So SO much more.


"When i observe Your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You set in place, what is man, that you remember him, the son of man, that You look after him? You made him little less than God and crowned him with glory and honor" - Psalm 8:3-5



Think about it... Of all the wonderful, amazing thing's God has created, YOU ARE GREATER THAN THESE THINGS TO HIM! The world will one day crumble, And that's alright with Him, All he cares about is you.......

(see? ....you might not know it, but now you do, SOMEBODY CARES ABOUT YOU!!!!!)


Back to Hebrews 13:5 - Which i quoted earlier.. There was more to this scripture..
"Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, i will never leave you or forsake you."

Ohh, The things you are longing for this season- The things that only money can by........ God has something so much greater to offer.

Im not trying to preach to anyone, Just so you know, Im just sharing these things with you, That comforted me last night. And dont worry- It's not just for you...... It's for me too.... Im reading what im writing, and im learning just as you are (if you are..)


Listen to this....
"Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; Believe also in Me. In My Fathers house are many dwelling places; If not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you. If i go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to myself, So that where i am you may be also." - John 14:1-3

You know what's funny? This sounds exactly like something i would like to hear from the one i love...... How great it is to know, Somebody is actually saying this to you, and I!

"Do not fear, for i have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; YOU ARE MINE. I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be burned when you walk through the fire, and the flame with not burn you. For i am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, Your savior." - Isaiah 43:1-3

"Why do you assert: My way is hidden from the LORD and my claim is ignored by my God?- Do you not know? Hav eyou not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, The creator of the earth from end to end. He never grows faint or weary; there is no limit to his understanding. He gives strength to the weary and strengthens the powerless." - Isaiah 40:27-29

"My Soul, praise the Lord and do not forget all his benefits. He forgives all your sin; He heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from the pit; He crowns you with LOVE and COMPASSION. He satisfies you with goodness; your youth is renewed like the eagle" -Psalm 103:2-5



Whatever your needing, or asking for today.. God wants to give it to you.. He's listening.. Trust me he is, God listens.. But just because he doesnt give you the answer YOU want, Doesnt mean he isnt going to answer you, or Hasnt answered already.. God know's what we want, And what we need.. But he knows that what we need is more important and better for us, than what we want.

"Now this is the confidence we have before Him: Whenever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And IF WE KNOW that He hears us, whatever we ask, WE KNOW THAT we have what we have asked him for." -1 John 5:14-15

"Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching and you will find. Keep knocking and the door will be opened to you!" -Matthew 7:7


"When you pray, dont babble like the idolaters, since they imagine they will be heard for their many words. Dont be like them because your Father knows the things you need before you ask him!" -Matthew 6:7-8

"EVEN BEFORE THEY CALL, I WILL ANSWER; WHILE THEY ARE STILL SPEAKING, I WILL HEAR" -Isaiah 65:24



Your not alone.. And your thoughts, and prayers, and wants and needs, are not being ignored or over looked... He's listening..

God loves you SO much, That he sent his son, to die on the cross for your sins, While you were still a sinner!

"No one has greater love than this, That someone would lay down his life for his friends." -John 15:13

"Rarely will someone die for a just person --Though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. But GOD PROVES HIS OWN LOVE FOR US IN THAT WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS CHRIST DIED FOR US!" -Romans 5:6-8

"For God so loved the world... He gave his only begotten son.. That whosoever believed in HIM would NOT PERISH, but have EVER LASTING LIFE!" - John 3:16

"And what we have come to know and ot believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him. In this, LOVE IS PERFECTED WITH US SO THAT WE MAY HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THE DAY OF JUDGMENT; FOR WE ARE AS HE IS IN THE WORLD. "Arent two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Fathers consent. But even the hairs on your head have all been counted. Dont be afraid therefor; YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN MANY SPARROWS!" -Matthew 10:29-31

To know, That someone cares so much about me, That not only would he send his son to die for my meaningless sins, But he also knows the numbers of each hair on my head? ....We mean alot to him.

"You did not chose me. BUT I CHOSE YOU. I appointed you that you should go out and produce fruit, and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the father in my name, He will give to you" - John 15:16



Im gonna end this blog entry, With one more scripture.. But before i do, I just wanna say.... If your feeling lonely, Your not alone. If your feeling unloved, You are loved. If you feel like nobody cares, Somebody cares.

I hope and pray that this wasnt too annoying to read, I know reading long stuff (for me any way) can get a LITTLE bit annoying :) I hope i was able to bring some kind of light or comfort to you, Today, or whenever you read this... As the scriptures did the same for me.

God loves you, And i pray you love him as well. What kind of relationship would two have, if only ONE loved the other? :)
