I will try my best to keep this post short and sweet. Because i dont want to drag on and bore everyone as usual, lol. But i have to share this with yall because i know alot of you out there are suffering from acne/breakout's like me.
Growing up (teen years) when most folks see their first skin issues, I personally had none.
I may have seen one or two pimples randomly show up through-out my teen years and it was nothing major. I always felt so blessed that i hadnt had this problem.
But as soon as i hit my 20's.. Oh boy.. The pimples came.. Full force..
And decided to torture me, for the next several years..
Now mind you, i've never had terrible acne, or acne all over, but i have had so many break outs, and they have caused me to be super self concious (alot!)
The first time i noticed i had a problem, i ordered PRO-ACTIVE.
Now im not knocking this product, it might work for you, but for me.. It made my situation worse, and i noticed scars appearing.
I quit using this immedietly. It did nothing for me but make my issues worse.
So i then went to a dermatologist. I was perscribed antibiotics. I took them for the suggested time. And this didnt help..
A few years later, i return once again to the dermatologist, to receive more antibiotics (a different kind this time) and a seriously strong acne cream. Which burned my skin, and irritated it so bad, i never wanted to touch the stuff again.
After years of trying spot treatments, special face washes, and everything else in between-- even hoping birth control would help.. (it didnt)
